Last year I took my first step at becoming an Olympian! This year my Olympic dream is stronger than ever and it has turned into a journey. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Matthew Sanchez. I live in Orlando, I train at the Central Florida Rifle & Pistol Club and remotely with Amy Sowash. To me, Olympic Shooting is more than just another sport because it is something that I am really passionate about. Through hard work and dedication, I’ve qualified for a first round invite to The 2017 US National Junior Olympics at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. Here, I will compete against the best juniors in the nation. My goal is to make The National Junior Team and obtain a podium spot. Please help me get there!
